What We Treat

Mental health conditions and substance use disorders can affect your relationships, responsibilities, and overall quality of life. At Southwest Addiction Centers, we provide personalized care that addresses your symptoms, experiences, and recovery goals. Our PHP, IOP, and outpatient services offer different levels of support without requiring you to put your entire life on hold.

Mental Health Conditions We Treat

Anxiety Disorders

Anxiety can cause constant worry, fear, physical tension, racing thoughts, and difficulty completing everyday tasks. Treatment can help you recognize anxiety triggers and respond to them in healthier ways.

Depression

Depression can affect your motivation, energy, concentration, sleep, and interest in activities you once enjoyed. Our team helps you address these symptoms while working toward a more manageable and fulfilling daily routine.

Trauma and PTSD

Past traumatic experiences can continue affecting your emotions, relationships, and sense of safety. Trauma-informed treatment provides a supportive environment where you can process your experiences and develop healthier responses to triggers.

Bipolar Disorder

Bipolar disorder may involve significant changes in mood, energy, activity, and decision-making. Personalized treatment can help you recognize mood patterns, manage symptoms, and build greater emotional stability.

Mood Disorders

Mood disorders can cause ongoing emotional changes that interfere with work, relationships, and everyday responsibilities. Treatment focuses on managing symptoms and developing practical tools that support long-term wellness.

Co-Occurring Mental Health Conditions

Some people experience more than one mental health condition at the same time. Our team looks at how your symptoms interact so your treatment plan can address your needs as a whole.

Substance Use Disorders We Treat

Alcohol Addiction

Alcohol addiction can be difficult to recognize because drinking is common and widely accepted. If alcohol is affecting your health, relationships, responsibilities, or ability to control your use, professional support may help.

Opioid Addiction

Opioids can cause powerful cravings and physical dependence. Treatment provides structured support for addressing the emotional, behavioral, and practical challenges connected to opioid use.

Fentanyl Addiction

Fentanyl is a highly potent opioid associated with a serious risk of overdose. Our team helps clients struggling with fentanyl use develop a personalized plan for continued treatment and recovery.

Prescription Drug Addiction

Medications can become harmful when they are misused, taken outside their intended purpose, or become difficult to stop. We treat addiction involving prescription opioids, sedatives, stimulants, and other medications.

Benzodiazepine Addiction

Benzodiazepines such as Xanax, Valium, and Ativan can lead to dependence and addiction. Ongoing treatment can help address the behaviors, triggers, and mental health concerns connected to benzodiazepine use.

Cocaine Addiction

Cocaine use can create intense cravings and negatively affect mood, sleep, relationships, and physical health. Treatment helps you recognize patterns of use and develop healthier ways to manage stress and triggers.

Methamphetamine Addiction

Methamphetamine addiction can have serious effects on a person’s mental health, physical well-being, and ability to function. Structured care provides accountability, therapeutic support, and practical recovery skills.

Marijuana Addiction

Although marijuana is often viewed as harmless, some people find it difficult to reduce or stop using it. Treatment may help when marijuana use begins affecting motivation, mental health, relationships, or daily responsibilities.

Polysubstance Use

Polysubstance use involves using more than one drug or combining drugs with alcohol. Treatment addresses the full pattern of substance use rather than focusing on only one substance.

Treatment for Co-Occurring Disorders

Mental health and substance use disorders often influence one another. Someone may use drugs or alcohol to cope with anxiety, depression, trauma, or difficult emotions, only to experience worsening symptoms over time.
Our co-occurring disorder treatment addresses both concerns through one coordinated plan. This integrated approach helps you identify underlying patterns, develop healthier coping skills, and create a more stable path forward.
